Ballooning season is all year round, so you don’t have to stick to the summer months. During the warmer months, launch early in the morning, before the start of the so-called thermal airflow. Early evening flights are rare on hot days. On cooler days, launches are possible during the day. Believe us, the most beautiful flights are the morning flights with sunrise. The temperature in the balloon basket in the air is not much lower than on the ground. We recommend sports clothing according to the current season and above all sturdy shoes. High heels are more suitable to celebrate the experience after a balloon flight. You will meet the balloon team at an agreed time at an agreed location. The balloon needs to be prepared for the flight – either directly at the meeting point or sometimes a transfer to another launching area is necessary. The balloon flight takes approximately one hour, but please allow at least three hours for the whole experience. After packing up the balloon and “christening” the first years, we will bring you back to the meeting point. Hot air ballooning is strictly weather dependent. The balloon flies in the direction and speed of the wind. The pilot has sole responsibility and makes the decision based on expert information as to the safety of the flight. If the weather is not suitable for the flight, a new flight date will be arranged.
