Balloon fiesta

A unique event with an exceptional atmosphere, where visitors will be enchanted by dozens of colorful balloons rising to the sky. Over the years, we have organized balloon fiestas in several exceptional locations – in Košice, Tokaj, and also under the Tatras in Veľká Lomnica. However, the Košice Balloon Fiesta is our heartfelt affair, and with its 28th edition in May 2025, it is an inseparable part of the city.

Balloon operation and maintenance

Balloon operation

Based on the Declaration in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/395, we are an operator authorized to perform commercial air transport, i.e., to carry out sightseeing flights with hot air balloons. Our clients include Košice Airport – Airport Košice, a.s.; Slovenská sporiteľňa, a.s.; Dolphin Central Europe, s.r.o.

We hold a Combined Airworthiness Organisation (CAO) certificate, reference number SK.CAO.004, based on which we offer balloon owners the possibility of servicing, maintaining, and repairing balloons, performing mandatory inspections, and managing continuing airworthiness for the following balloon types: Kubíček Balloons, Cameron Balloons, Ultramagic Balloons, Lindstrand Balloons, Schroeder Fire Balloons, Ballon Chaize.

Flight Logbook

The Flight Logbook is issued in accordance with EASA regulations – Commission Regulation (EU) 1178/2011, Part FCL, and approved by the Transport Authority of the Slovak Republic under ref. no. 07551/2013/OPL-002. The logbook has a hard leatherette binding with metal corner reinforcements and the inscription “ZÁPISNÍK LETOV” (Flight Logbook). It is printed on high-quality colored paper with a watermark. All texts are in Slovak and English.
