Ballooning season is all year round, so you don’t have to stick to the summer months. During the warmer months, launch early in the morning, before the start of the so-called thermal airflow. Early evening flights are rare on hot days. On cooler days, launches are possible during the day. Believe us, the most beautiful flights are the morning flights with sunrise.
The temperature in the balloon basket in the air is not much lower than on the ground. We recommend sports clothing according to the current season and especially sturdy shoes. High heels are preferable to celebrate the experience after a balloon flight.
You will meet the balloon team at the agreed time at the agreed place. The balloon needs to be prepared for flight – directly at the meeting point or sometimes a transfer to another launching area is necessary. The balloon flight takes approximately one hour, but please allow at least three hours for the whole experience. After packing up the balloon and “christening” the first years, we will bring you back to the meeting point.
Hot air ballooning is strictly weather dependent. The balloon flies in the direction and speed of the wind. The pilot has sole responsibility and makes decisions on the safety of the flight based on expert information. If the weather is not suitable for the flight, a new flight date will be arranged.
