Take home an experience of a lifetime. Reserve your place in one of the fiesta baskets and find yourself right among dozens of colorful balloons with views of the sub-Tatra region and majestic mountain peaks.

Balloon Fiesta and Tatra Cycling Ride
10:00–12:30 | Drone Races
The morning will kick off with exciting drone races, where pilots will showcase their speed, precision, and flying skills.
12:30–13:30 | Registration for the Tatra Cycling Ride
Hosted welcome for participants at BikePark Veľká Lomnica, followed by an introduction to the routes.
13:30–16:30 | Tatra Cycling Ride
A group cycling ride beneath the High Tatras will offer participants an active afternoon and beautiful views of the Tatra scenery along three routes of varying difficulty.
16:00–16:30 | Hoki Poki – The Big Secret
Our youngest visitors can look forward to The Big Secret, a children’s theatre performance by Hoki Poki.
16:30–17:00 | Tatra Cycling Ride Awards
Recognition of participants and the official conclusion of the group cycling ride.
17:00–17:30 | Competition Balloon Flight
The sky above Veľká Lomnica will fill with competition balloons.
18:00–18:30 | Chris Ellys – Acoustic Folk Concert
The atmosphere beneath the Tatras will be complemented by an acoustic performance by Slovak folk artist Chris Ellys.
18:30–19:30 | Drone Show and Model Aircraft
The afternoon will culminate in an aerial show featuring an exciting drone exhibition and demonstrations of model aircraft.
19:30–20:00 | BDHS – Live Concert by a Band from Prešov
The evening music programme continues with a live performance by Prešov-based band BDHS, blending dance music with elements of nu-disco, house and drum & bass.
20:00–20:30 | Light & Music Show and Night Balloon Inflation
The programme will conclude with a unique combination of music, lights and hot-air balloons. Visitors will be able to watch the balloons being inflated after dark right in the event area.
Additional Activities
Throughout the afternoon, there will also be activities for visitors who prefer to enjoy the event at a more relaxed pace:
• Food & refreshment zone
• Chill-out zone
• Children’s entertainment
• Tethered balloon rides and a walk-in balloon from 18:00 – a chance to experience a hot-air balloon up close and take a look inside the basket
• Garbage truck and environmental games for children
• Bouncy castles

Hot air balloon flights take place only in favourable weather conditions.
The balloon launch site may change depending on wind direction, as this can affect the competition task and flight safety.
